Reclaiming my time, again, I think no matter how the gentleman from Alabama says it, the simple translation of that is: no, we won't consider that request. So at this point, we have a very important request that would save lives and help prevent terrorist attacks in our country. Mr. Speaker, I yield to the gentleman from Massachusetts (Mr. McGovern) for a unanimous consent request. Mr. McGOVERN. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to bring up H.R. 1217, the bipartisan expanded background checks legislation, to honor the memory of Devin Hamb, a victim of gun violence who never received a moment of silence on the House floor.
