In this country today, it is required that there be background checks. It is required that those who purchase firearms use them properly. They are liable themselves if they do not use them properly, they are liable themselves if they sell them illegally, and the seller is liable if they sell them illegally. Therefore, in the gentleman's case, there is no problem if they sell them legally.
