This resolution today includes section 2105, requiring the administrator of the FAA to evaluate and update these safety standards. I want to thank Chairman Shuster and Ranking Member DeFazio for working with me on this issue. Together, we can work with the FAA and industry to update these critical safety standards and make sure newly manufactured helicopters include crash-resistant fuel systems.
