The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. 10002. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used for a furlough (as defined in section 7511(a)(5) of title 5, United States Code) of any civilian employee of the Department of Defense. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 312, the gentleman from Colorado (Mr. Lamborn) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Colorado.
