I would only say that, when there is a population of 300,000 sea lions, I would not call that endangered. They are protected under a Federal law, but they are not found to be endangered or threatened, as far as I know. I applaud Representative Crane for his leadership on this common-sense proposal that will address a very real need for two communities in his district.

We are going to send it over to the Senate, and hopefully they can repeal this rule.
So, it seemed to me that the proper place to hold the hearing was a place just like this, where people and wolves are forced to cohabitate.
