They are protected under a Federal law, but they are not found to be endangered or threatened, as far as I know. It is absolutely outrageous that the Office of Management and Budget, the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Department of Commerce, and the White House sent you here today by yourself to answer for stuff that they have done.
