I really don't question the motives of the majority here. I think it is in the congressional prerogative to file a lawsuit if Congress believes that the Administration has overstepped its constitutional bounds.
DeGette supports Congress's right to challenge the Administration's actions legally.

I understand that most of our Republican House colleagues voted against these landmark laws.
I was pleased to see that, as part of these bills, there was an increase in funding for inspector generals' offices, for the most part, and to do this work, because I think it is important work.
I think it is important that we continue to keep eyes on that issue to make sure that it is still continuing to happen.
