Brittany Pettersen: “You can’t fake being pregnant or giving birth.”

This place does not work for young families. That is a detriment.

I’m just devastated for the people who have gone through this, who’ve lost pregnancies unnecessarily, who have been left without the medical care that they need after miscarrying.

Unfortunately, I wasn't given the opportunity to vote remotely after giving birth, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from representing my constituents.

This is a deeply disturbing effort to intimidate sitting Members of Congress.
