I hope we will view March 27th, which is the end of the continuing resolution, as an opportunity to pass a budget.
Congress failed San Diego and America last week by not working together to find a sensible alternative to the sequester.
They depend heavily on funding from the National Institutes of Health.
Finding common ground does not mean we have failed. It does not mean we have abandoned our principles.
We could turn the indiscriminate cuts in the sequester into targeted cuts that are part of a larger and balanced deficit...
Young people who are deciding where to do their science are looking at Congress.
