My sense is that this Congress won't take up a carbon pricing bill because we're not going to get anywhere in the Senate with it.
So, in other words, you're not going to be cooperating with the SAB's review of the proposed rule?
Will you commit to not finalizing the proposed rule until the SAB has had time to complete its review?
Well, it's--I mean, it sounds a lot of--in the past a lot of opinion has been passed on as science and has put a lot of innocent people in harm's way one way or another.
this is very informative testimony, and I hope we can sort of change that into Federal law in a positive way and Federal funding, too
We don't know enough about the science to decide one way or the other right now if geoengineering is appropriate.
Cutting emissions and investing in climate resilience have to be our first line solutions here.
