This is truly a bipartisan issue and I am looking forward to working with members on both sides of the aisle to make some progress here.
Our energy grid serves as the backbone of our economy, touching every aspect of our lives.
The planet is continuing to warm, and unfortunately, I believe that we're going to blow past 2+ centigrade.
So, for the world to meet meaningful emission reductions in the next few decades, we'll need to invest in negative emission technology.
I was pleased to see that in Fiscal Year 2020, the Energy and Water Appropriations Report directed funding to be used for cross-cutting initiatives.
I think it is important to highlight the fact, as Mr. Galyen mentioned, H.R. 5544 does not force anyone to abandon existing refrigeration or air conditioning equipment and really requires a phase-down as opposed to a phaseout.
I remain very concerned that Facebook is putting its bottom line ahead of addressing misinformation.
You think that would be fast enough to keep deepfakes from going viral or other misinformation from going viral?
