Mr. Chair, I yield myself the balance of my time. Mr. Chair, to be clear: This is not a scheduling problem on the part of the applicant. The applicant doesn't know exactly when they are going to be ready. The applicant doesn't know when the weather is going to cooperate. Particularly for the base level of pilots' licenses, you need good weather to be able to take the test. This is just talking about the amount of time after an applicant says I am ready before which a designated pilot examiner can administer that exam. I think we can all agree that that should not be a year. This is a commonsense amendment that would solve that problem, and I urge its adoption. Mr. Chair, I yield back the balance of my time.
