I will have to say that my first response would be that among those 21,000 children who have received scholarships, it is almost impossible to relate the wonderful anecdotal stories that you get. Parents come to me and say, my child was failing in the public situation. They just were not doing well. It was not that the schools were not a good school. It just was not the right fit for them. Sometimes we overlook that. Oftentimes there is this notion that if you are for parental empowerment that somehow you are condemning all public schools, and that is not the case at all.
