I am here today to alert you to the dangerous state of our Nation's strategic capabilities and what the Obama years have done to our ability to deter and defeat the deadliest weapons known to humanity.

I talked to the president yesterday one on one and I will just say to you that the man approached me in a reasonable rational manner and I thought it was amazing to see a president this engaged personally.
