Mr. Chairman, I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Add at the end of the bill the following: (e) Special Rule for Attorney Fees in Environmental Cases.--In the case of a settlement agreement which is permissible under subsection (a), and which directs or provides for payment for services rendered in connection with a case relating to the environment, the settlement agreement may not provide for payment of attorney fees in excess of $125 per hour.
