I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Insert after section 344 the following: SEC. 345. DETERMINATION OF PREVAILING WAGE UNDER THE DAVIS- BACON ACT. For purposes of this Act, any determination of the prevailing wage conducted under section 3142(b) of title 40, United States Code (commonly known as the Davis-Bacon Act) shall be conducted by the Secretary of Labor acting through the Bureau of Labor Statistics using surveys carried out by the Bureau that use proper random statistical sampling techniques. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 440, the gentleman from Arizona (Mr. Gosar) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Arizona.
