Thanks for holding this important hearing on tax legislation. As the Committee knows well, tax policy affects just about every part of American life.

I don't know why we think it works with China. But it has been the policy of multiple administrations to practice strategic ambiguity.

If we want to have a horrible problem, let's just ignore it because the more and more China bullies some of our partners.
