Martha McSally

Martha McSally is a Republican politician from Arizona who served as a U.S. Senator from 2019 to 2020. She was the first woman to fly in combat for the U.S. Air Force and has a notable military background. McSally was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014, representing Arizona's 2nd congressional district, where she focused on issues such as national security and veterans' affairs. During her time in the Senate, she continued to advocate for military and defense issues, as well as border security and immigration reform.
I look forward to hearing from Mr. Currie about GAO's reviews and his suggestions for ways to further improve our Federal response posture.
The storm took more than 1,800 lives, impacted millions of Gulf Coast residents, and cost an estimated $108 billion--the most costly disaster in U.S. history.

August 29 marked the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the response to which was a failure at all levels of government.

I am skeptical about it, quite frankly, with all the things we have seen the Air Force trying to do to go against the will of this Congress.
