Martha McSally

Martha McSally is a Republican politician from Arizona who served as a U.S. Senator from 2019 to 2020. She was the first woman to fly in combat for the U.S. Air Force and has a notable military background. McSally was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014, representing Arizona's 2nd congressional district, where she focused on issues such as national security and veterans' affairs. During her time in the Senate, she continued to advocate for military and defense issues, as well as border security and immigration reform.
I feel like part of our challenge is we are stuck in a counterinsurgency mindset, and although we need to have a force on the ground afterwards, we need to take them out as a state, not as a counterinsurgency.
I am deeply concerned about the lack of using American air power for all it brings to the fight.
We want to do what we can in order to streamline getting good people into these jobs.
Are you guys willing to sit down with us and Douglas to try and figure out a way forward on this?
I would like to further have us look into whether this is an interpretation of law or whether we need a clarification in the law.
