Mark Edward Kelly is an American politician, engineer, and former astronaut currently serving as the junior United States senator from Arizona. A member of the Democratic Party, he was elected to the Senate in a special election held in November 2020 and officially took office on December 2, 2020. Kelly has focused on various issues during his tenure, including veterans' affairs, healthcare, and gun control, reflecting his commitment to public service and safety.
A lot of the jobs we have lost, have not been because of trade agreements. A lot of them have been because of tax policy and regulation policy.
I, with the Congress, with the people of this great Nation, will not be intimated by cowards.
We cannot afford for these things to do that, and I know it was not necessarily on your watch, but that does not alleviate the responsibility going forward to make sure that it does not happen worse on your watch.
It is imperative that we continue to reinvest in this program because, as most people say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I am just really concerned that a country that is going to have record revenue still can't come close, can't come close, to paying its spendings.
There is a need for pro-growth tax reform? And, without a doubt, everybody says: Yes, there is.
I can't overemphasize how important this is because, as you know, Secretary, once we lose that cotton infrastructure, you just can't go back and re-get it there.
Quite frankly, I don't mind spending money as long as it is a positive return on the investment for taxpayers.
