The southwest border is in crisis, Arizona continues to bear the brunt of the Federal Government's failures on the border, and the situation is only getting worse.
I would encourage the Department of Homeland Security and the administration to also recognize what I think is fairly obvious, which is that policy must be changed in order for us to get control of the situation on the border.
My office has been hearing from Arizona veterans and VA staff regarding concerns about unmanageable counselor's workloads.
I look forward to working together on next year's appropriations bill to ensure that we're providing veterans and their families with the benefits and care and support that they need.
