“I want to tell a couple of stories about what I have personally observed in our forests, and it might be of interest to others who perhaps do not have these same kinds of trees in their States. The country's largest ponderosa pine forest extends through the belt of Arizona that runs literally from the Grand Canyon all the way to New Mexico and then goes on into New Mexico.
