Unlike Strom Thurmond, we are going to be gone by the end of 30 years. But I see the point. If the Senator will just yield for one final comment, I appreciate the arguments the Senator has made. I think what I am suggesting is something that is correct on principle. I would not want it to impede good legislation. I tried to suggest a couple of areas of possible ways of dealing with the issue and would be happy to continue to pursue those areas should anyone be interested. On my behalf, I am not doing this for anybody in my State, because we do not have this. But I urge my colleagues to support the amendment and enable us perhaps with a little stronger leverage to go back and construct something that would make a little more sense. I thank the Senator for yielding.
