I appreciate the Senator's openness to exploring that question. PM-10 is the greatest air quality problem facing Arizona. There are currently 8 PM-10 non-attainment areas in Arizona and the Phoenix metropolitan area is a serious non-attainment area for PM-10. Our CMAQ apportionment should reflect and help us address our PM-10 air quality problem. Do I have the Senator's assurance that he and his colleagues are open to considering including PM-10 as part of the CMAQ apportionment formula?
