John McCain: “What is the level of effort with respect to the full complement of threat countermeasure upgrades”

We owe each other our respect as long as our character merits respect.

I want to say to all of you that I am so honored to be here to speak before this Committee.

I especially want to acknowledge the leadership of Senator McCain of Arizona who introduced the Native American Languages Act (NALA) in 1990.

Have you read about the FAST Act? Oh, yes. We have read about it but we really do not, you know, have to, like, pay a lot of attention to it.
