The Department of Energy's defense atomic energy programs are critically important to our national security.

I have to recognize that it has been this body, this Senate Committee, very important Committee on Indian Affairs that has been helping us.

I am convinced the only successful path to preserving the rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific--and the peace and prosperity it has generated--is to renew America's leadership in the region in full.
