Just look at what has happened. The attorney general has been fired. And oversight for the investigation has been taken from the deputy attorney general where it belonged.

Any time that you stand and say, I own the shutdown, then you own it.

I can use that leverage and I well, but, unfortunately, by January 3rd, somebody else has to take it up.
