This amendment would prohibit funds from going to the Fossil Energy Research and Development program. The Fossil Energy Research and Development program is set to receive nearly $500 million through this appropriation bill. The committee report recommends that no less than $25 million be used to continue research in certain areas. But we shouldn't have any money going to subsidize Big Oil.
