Ankara has had at least a transactional relationship with Russia on a number of issues.

There is no two-state solution in Cyprus. It needs to be a bizonal, bicommunal federation negotiated between the parties.

We need to make clear that that is inconsistent with democratic values and inconsistent with commitments that have been made.

We will work with them where we can, challenge them where we must.
