The Clerk read as follows: Mrs. Lesko moves to recommit the bill H.R. 1140 to the Committee on Homeland Security with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith with the following amendment: Add at the end of section 4 the following: (c) Rule of Construction.--During the transition period and after the conversion date, the Secretary shall ensure that the Transportation Security Administration continues to prevent the hiring of individuals who have been convicted of a sex crime, an offense involving a minor, a crime of violence, or terrorism.
