Madam Speaker, I am going to try something for the next hour, and it is going to be one of those presentations that is always a little on the difficult side because we are going to talk about things a lot of this place and a lot of the country doesn't want to hear, but we call it math. The first premise, I need to ask all of us, if I were to walk into a room of Democrats, people on the left, or people on the right, and say, ``What is the biggest threat over the next couple of decades that is facing your country?'' you would hear all sorts of things. You know, a couple of years ago, with the Democrats, it was Russia, Russia. Today, it may be this and that. I am going to argue it is demographics. And you go, huh? We are going to do almost 38 boards here, walking through the national debt, deficit spending, spending priorities, and the reality on where there are revenues, taxes, what we call receipts. Then you have to ask yourself, does the next generation, and the generation after that, and the generation after that, do they have the right to live in a country where there is some prosperity, or has Washington, D.C., decided to just destroy those who are heading toward retirement, those who are heading toward elementary school and their future? Let's actually sort of walk through some of the realities of the math. And I am not going to even bother with 1965 and what the mix was.…
