The U.N. Human Rights Council has focused obsessively on Israel. The U.N. General Assembly has adopted 21 resolutions singling out Israel. Because of this regrettable history, my amendment lays the groundwork for a restriction of funding to the United Nations should it take unfair and discriminatory action against Israel or attempt to impose a final settlement on Israel and the P.A. My hope is this will not be necessary, but this Congress should be prepared to take actions to defend the U.S.-Israel alliance. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from Wyoming.
