Mr. Speaker, Hassan Rouhani is no moderate. He was a devoted follower of the 1979 revolutionary cabal in Iran. He led the 1999 crackdown on students in Iran. He's bragged about deceiving Western nuclear inspectors. He's called Israel a Zionist Satan. He's not even a President-elect because he was chosen in a sham democracy and a sham election. Iran isn't looking for a chance to get to ``yes'' in negotiations. They are looking to give you a pretext to get to ``no'' on this legislation. Stand strong and vote ``yes'' to sanction Iran to stop their nuclear weapons capabilities.
