I’m pleased that the Senate Intelligence Committee voted to advance his nomination to be Director of National Intelligence.

I commend the Department of Education’s work to improve transparency, which includes actions against universities that have failed to comply with statutory financial reporting requirements.

These investments allow China to advance their interests, while undermining American innovation and our national security.

I have advised the President against this ill-advised action in the past and I now urge him to reconsider.
