“In the interest of time, this list goes on and on, to the tune of about 50 proposed and finalized rules by Chairman Gensler, a breakneck speed of rulemaking given that he has been Chairman for 3 years. To me, it is unacceptable, and we have had that dialogue in hearings. Speed and volume should not be defining characteristics of the rulemaking process. Mr. Chair, I stand with the gentleman from Tennessee and the gentleman from South Carolina, the authors of this amendment. Mr. Chair, I support the Holman rule in this particular case.”
