The legislative clerk read as follows: The Senator from Arkansas [Mr. Pryor] proposes an amendment numbered 82 to amendment No. 26. The amendment is as follows: On page 84, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following: Sec. 74__. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act-- (1) the amount made available for buildings operations and maintenance expenses in the matter before the first proviso under the heading ``Agriculture Buildings and Facilities and Rental Payments'' under the heading ``AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS'' in title I shall be $52,169,000; (2) the amount made available for necessary expenses to carry out services authorized by the Federal Meat Inspection Act, the Poultry Products Inspection Act, and the Egg Products Inspection Act in the matter before the first proviso under the heading ``Food Safety and Inspection Service'' under the heading ``AGRICULTURAL PROGRAMS'' in title I shall be $1,056,427,000; and (3) the amount made available to provide competitive grants to State agencies in the second proviso under the heading ``child nutrition programs'' under the heading ``Food and Nutrition Service'' under the heading ``DOMESTIC FOOD PROGRAMS'' in title IV shall be $10,000,000.
