Mr. President, I rise today to congratulate the Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General of U.S. Army Reserve Command, LTG Jody J. Daniels on her retirement from the U.S. Army Reserve. Lieutenant General Daniels' 41-year career has been characterized by exceptionally meritorious service while serving in positions of increasing responsibility, culminating as the Chief of Army Reserve. A native of Rolla, MO, Lieutenant General Daniels' leadership positively impacted the lives of countless servicemembers. Her career of service and achievements will have a lasting impact on the Army's future ability to support our Nation's defense.
