While this is clearly welcome progress, we need more of our colleagues’ votes to reflect the urgency of supporting farmers, ranchers, forest landowners and rural communities.

I’m a guy that’s pretty low key and pretty good at working with people to get things done. And we’ve worked really hard to get this done. Farmers desperately need it.

I’m pleased to continue working with Senator Hoeven to strengthen the future of American agriculture.

We respectfully urge you to maintain the scientific drain tile setback rule that’s been successful for more than 60 years.
