I rise today to highlight the following letter written by over 60 genocide scholars, including Dr. Samuel Totten of the University of Arkansas. Their letter urges the Obama administration to do more to end the humanitarian catastrophe occurring in South Kordofan and Blue Nile States of Sudan. Last summer I joined a group of bipartisan Senators in making a similar request of the administration. There being no objection, the material was ordered to be printed in the Record, as follows: August 31, 2012.
