this is a commonsense amendment. All it does is allow the Corps of Engineers to participate in the interagency America the Beautiful Pass Program. It just allows military families to participate in the same way they already do with the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Fish and Wildlife Service, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Reclamation. Madam President, I call up the amendment. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the amendment. The assistant bill clerk read as follows: The Senator from Arkansas [Mr. Boozman] proposes an amendment numbered 822. The amendment is as follows: (Purpose: To authorize the Secretary to participate in the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass program) At the end of the bill, add the following: TITLE XII--MISCELLANEOUS SEC. 12001. AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL NATIONAL PARKS AND FEDERAL RECREATIONAL LANDS PASS PROGRAM. The Secretary may participate in the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass program in the same manner as the National Park Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Reclamation, including the provision of free annual passes to active duty military personnel and dependents.
