This amendment would terminate NASA's space station program... I believe very strongly that we are embarked on the expenditure of $100 billion that, in the final analysis, is going to be considered... as a terrible financial disaster. We still have a chance to prevent that disaster. If we were to adopt the Bumpers amendment today, we have a chance to save between $50 and $74 billion.
