how about the last runway that was built at the Atlanta airport? It only took 11 years to build it. Actually, it only took 18 months. It took 9.5 years to go through the NEPA permitting process. These are the kinds of projects we are talking about all across the country that are being adversely affected by a cumbersome permitting process. It is not doing anything extra to help the environment or protect our resources. It is simply a way to stop progress and stop projects from happening.
