The record we create today will support the mission and work of this Committee to ensure that U.S. citizens and our locally self-governing U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands benefit and prosper under the American model of democracy, market-driven economics, responsible environmental stewardship, and of course, strong national defense.
