“I am very well aware of the makeup of the Hispanic Caucus. I have worked with members of the Hispanic Caucus for many years. I think it is also fair to look at the geographical diversity and the experience base of these people who represent Americans from New York to L.A. and from Texas to Chicago who went to the trouble to interview the nominee and concluded by their own efforts that he was not going to be acceptable in part because they couldn't get adequate information on which to base a good decision.”
