Bill Clinton: “We've put the economic interests of America's broad middle class back at the center of our policies at home.”

Damn it, what we have in common matters more. We cannot throw the legacy of this country away.

We have worked to give the American people a smaller, less bureaucratic government in Washington. And we have to give the American people one that lives within its means.

Look, only elections are going to change this.

I hope that people will still believe in our democratic system enough to stick with it and keep pushing to make it work.
