Never. When I was a kid, people beat each other up; I mean, the only thing you ever worried about was somebody coming up to you on the street or in an alley or something and jumping you and beating you up. Nobody ever shot anybody; there were none of this--I mean, to speak of--there was very little of this, the kidnapings, the kind of thing that happened to your sister--much more rare then.
