We've never seen anything like this before in my lifetime – somebody that says, 'Whatever I want should be the law of the land. It's my way or the highway.'

I think he can have some of these smaller events where he likes to be the explainer-in-chief.

'We should see it as a return to form for a party that has always made distinctions between 'good' and 'bad' immigrants.'

I hope that people will still believe in our democratic system enough to stick with it and keep pushing to make it work.
