Damn it, what we have in common matters more. We cannot throw the legacy of this country away.
I hope that people will still believe in our democratic system enough to stick with it and keep pushing to make it work.
We have worked to give the American people a smaller, less bureaucratic government in Washington. And we have to give the American people one that lives within its means.
