I admire the difficult and courageous steps that President Kuchma and Ukraine have taken toward democracy and economic reform.
The United States is strongly committed to a sovereign, independent, prosperous Ukraine.
This issue has been swept under the rug for too long.
The Agreement represents a considerable achievement for the United States in promoting better stewardship of living marine resources.
