Bill Clinton: “We can balance the budget without doing any of that.”

We've never seen anything like this before in my lifetime – somebody that says, 'Whatever I want should be the law of the land. It's my way or the highway.'

Damn it, what we have in common matters more. We cannot throw the legacy of this country away.

I hope that people will still believe in our democratic system enough to stick with it and keep pushing to make it work.

Diverse groups make better decisions than homogenous ones do.
