Bill Clinton: “Let us build that America, a nation ever moving forward toward realizing the full potential of all its citizens.”

Damn it, what we have in common matters more. We cannot throw the legacy of this country away.

That ain't America. We've never done that.

We have worked to give the American people a smaller, less bureaucratic government in Washington. And we have to give the American people one that lives within its means.

I hope that people will still believe in our democratic system enough to stick with it and keep pushing to make it work.
